How to be free

I’m reading How to be free by Tom Hodgkinson, I’d recommend…well at least I would after the first 50 pages. Also I’ve been enjoying ‘just’ making. I’m knitting a scarf [shown above] that is going to wrap round twice with lots of lovely big buttons, although I’m not entirely sure what it will look like as I’m making it up as I go along. I still haven’t got bored of making notebooks. I ‘just’ like having things that other people don’t and being able to make things for myself instead of someone else doing it. We really don’t need as many other people as we think we need to have the objects we want in our lives. Other people have skills but so do I so why don’t I use mine instead of letting them be redundant.
